What is a Nekomimi?

Basically, a Nekomimi is a cat girl. I first encountered Nekomimi in the anime series,

Hyper Police. A friend loaned me her DVDs and I have loved nekomimis ever since.

Cordie was first created as a nekomimi Summer of 2010, but didn't come into her own until her 21cm obitsu body was switched out for 11cm obitsu body-when they were issued in June of 2011 . Only then did she become a pocket sized dynamo worthy of being the anime embodiment of my cat, Cordelia.

With My Little Bow and Arrow

Mama just finished my bow, arrows, and quiver to go with my Merida outfit. She still needs to wrap the handle of my sword before she starts work on the dress pattern. Standing still for fittings is my least favorite part of new clothes. But, it will be worth it when I have my green and gold dress.

WOW! That is one neat looking bow and arrow! I haven't seen the movie, but I've seen pictures of the character and I think you'll look GREAT! I'm with Pastel in the "can't wait to see the whole ensemble" department!

Hanging out for fittings is boring, but worth it. This is going to be so cool. You're so lucky to have a companion who makes stuff for you. *sigh*

I am really looking forward to the Merida dress. I will be able to wear it to SCA events and to Cons as cosplay. It will be very useful and I already own boots. I even have my horse Dreamy.
