A New Dress!

I am happier this evening. Mama just finished my new dress. Now, everyone but Leila has new clothes to wear. Mama did a lot of sewing since I last wrote. She made pants and a jacket for Mstya, finished a dress for Nefertari, and just needs to trim Amara's new coat. My dress is made out of the same flannel as Mstya's clothes and it is so soft and warm. Leila said warriors have to be tough, but I think Mama is making her warm clothes anyway.

I like clothes

I am upset. Mama has been sewing for days and none of it is for me. First, she made pants and a coat for a friend's very large doll. Then she made a coat and altered a shirt for Nasrin, who hasn't arrived yet. Now she is sewing Amara a new pirate coat. She has a new pattern that she is making for Mstya and says that after he gets a new shirt and pants she will make me something. That will be so long. I need more clothes! It is cold and I only have 1 sweater dress. I have been watching Mama with big eyes all day long, but I don't think it is working.
